Rant Raise your hand if you have been violated by Bell Canada's voice services in Kingston
I have found myself in several situations where I couldn't make important calls from my home because my voice services are garbage. The caller on the other end says I keep cutting out. This has occurred for years but it becomes really problematic when I'm trying to do things like report an incident to non-local CFB MPs, navigating insurance claims, etc. I currently have to lean out my upstairs bedroom window to even hope to be able to get through a few sentences. I have done troubleshooting with Bell and they told me that it was my phone but that they couldn't do anything because I didn't buy it from them (I purchased from Samsung). I have purchased a new phone through Bell, thinking that my previous phone (purchased from Samsung) was being hexed by Bell for daring to "BYOD". My bf switched from his previous carrier, Freedom, to Bell and now has the same issues with his new phone. I spoke to a customer service employee at Enterprise near my location and they experience the same problems. For reference, I live in the Meadowbrook area. Anyone else having these issues? I bundle so many things with Bell it would be a nightmare to switch but I might have to. Has anyone had any luck fixing the issue with Bell? Recommendations for service providers for phone, Internet and smartwatch? Thanks 🫶
