My Kitten Enjoying my first kittens
I recently got three little kittens and made them a happy place to be, really enjoying life right now.
It really helps the recovery from the family depression I got through last three years..
Photo 1: Blacky and Pumpkin
Photo 2: Fluffy and Pumpkin
Photo 3: All three taking the first made for kittens reward snack !
I've had many big dogs in my life but those little ones bring a whole complete other vibe as they require less work to stay busy by themselves and it's good company while I clean-up around.
Cheers!

They are seriously cute! I think you will find that you will love them more and more as time goes by. It’s wonderful that you got three of them!

Awww! I’m so jealous! Even though I have my baby and have experienced this many times.
Blacky, fluffy and pumpkin are adorable names! I call mine pumpkin all the time even though he’s called Leo 🤣

Congratulations! They’re adorable 🥰 I just adopted my first kittens (a grey female and orange male tabby) last month too. I am basically a new cat mom (had a feral barn cat that passed in July) as I’ve always had dogs too my entire life. They grow on me daily and I’m starting to become a cat person in addition to a dog person (we still have a 9 year old mini bulldog).

I heard milk is bad for cats

OP wrote it’s their ‘made for kittens snack’ so I’m going to assume it’s kitten milk

Unless that’s KMR (which they seem too old for), cats are lactose intolerant and shouldn’t be given milk.

It kinda looks like goat milk which is fine and when I foster kittens I spoil them . I have also given my adult cats goat milk

Getting kittens in multiples is so much easier because they do a lot together. I got a solo kitten in October 2024 and within 4 weeks we realised he needed a friend because he was craving cat companionship and our old lady cat ignores him, so he was getting a bit lonely.
We managed to get a half-sister of his from the same breeder a few months later and it’s been so rewarding having two of them. They play together, they groom each other, sometimes they argue but it’s always playful and doesn’t last long. It normally happens when Archie (slightly older and much bigger) won’t stop grooming Morag, who despite being the smallest and youngest cat in our home absolutely rules the roost. If a groom session goes on for too long she’ll swipe him and then they play fight for a bit. It’s adorable.
Archie just turned 2 last month and Morag is 2 in November. We also have our old lady Sybil who is 15! I’ve attached a couple of photos of Morag and Archie twinning. Sybil doesn’t like the paparazzi!
