My Kitten kitten keeps peeing in my bed

hello, i got a 4 month old boy kitten who’s neutered. he uses his litter box 80% of the time. but for some reason 20% of the time he will just pee on my bed. i always make sure to use a special laundry cleaner that eliminates cat pee odor and spray it after with more cat pee odor eliminator. he also doesn’t really pee in the same spot every time he does it it. i’d also say he mainly does this at night but usually he does fine during the day but when the sun goes down that when he starts peeing on the bed.

Ik it may be hard but if you can close the door to your room for a few nights and see if he pees in the litter box instead may help? If he doesn't I recommend getting checked for a uti (is he an orange boy) or bring the litter box in your room and when you notice he's about to pee throw him in it

i only got him about a week ago. he hasn’t explored the rest of the apartment besides my room and my bathroom. i’m worried he will pee on my furniture. he’s been sleeping in the bathroom for the past couple days because i’ve washed my whole bedding 9 times since i’ve got him and i need a break

I'd keep him in there for the nights and during the day let him roam. If you see him pee pick him up and throw him in the litter box even if it's mid pee. Ik it sucks but it does help them learn

He may not have full bladder control yet, and is peeing on the bed cause he wakes up and doesn't have enough time to get to the box. Presuming he's sleeping on the bed. Might want to keep him in a small bathroom or pet tent at night and when not at home until he does.
