Just when we thought it couldn’t get worse they took our short king from us.

Horrible marketing team they got. This is worse than letting Beal wear #3.

Half the replies to this tweet were in Japanese, such a miss even for that alone. Not like we are competing anytime soon may as well have fun and bring in new cool fans.

Oh cmon, you are so singleminded. That spot occupied by Bradley Beal can help us in ways such as

The rotting corpse of Bradley Beal is worth an additional -50 (if he even plays)

If he's getting kicked out of all teams that try him, isn't that a definitive pattern that he doesn't work well in NBA? Maybe he should go to Europe or something
7
u/dmilesai Darius Miles 5d ago
Why go to Europe when he'd get paid a ridiculous amount of money in the B.League?

u/NecessaryMean2164 5d ago
He is on the g league, i suspect they need him to help develop the play making for the main team and the exhibit ten was just a kind gesture

Did everyone in this sub casually just forget that we already have like 8 point guards
2
u/Exzibit21 Blake Griffin 4d ago
Don't take this sub too seriously with some of the comments. Especially when it comes to the actual product on the floor.

Holy shit this sub has no ball knowledge

u/Frequent-Ferret-5110 4d ago
Lots of these comments make it clear that despite how bad things have been the past few months, there are still plenty of ways we could be much more of a joke of a franchise
That or a lot of this sub is vying to run the Kings' front office

He brings fun and excitement to an otherwise pretty boring Clippers team this year

u/JaguarAromatic5477 4d ago
you know what else brings excitement? Prospect of getting better in hte future. This guy is NOT getting any better cuz hes not getting any taller

u/lm2lm DJ Dense 4d ago
Maybe they could also get Tako Fall and Mo Bamba?! Maybe LiAngelo ball and Jimmer Fredette could be fun too?!

I don’t know. It makes sense to me to put a gimmick sideshow attraction on the Clippers. Gotta put butts in seats at the end of the day because competing is out of the question.

Sensible move, but I feel for Yuki. He's had to go through a lot of turnover and I imagine he has a strong mental to be able to stay focused despite hopping around from team to team.

this guy deadass the unluckiest player alive like he is actually very promising with his size but was only getting like 1-3 mins a game in chicago and now is playing hot potato around the league man

u/heirofsorrows Blake Griffin 5d ago
Our fanbase is dumb. Yuki is cool, but are we really getting upset over our franchise moving on from a 5’7 player who will never be meaningfully impactful in the NBA? A guy who would only take minutes away from Keaton? Sure, Yuki may be more deserving of a roster spot than Beal, but Beal was never even considered to be cut before the season starts. You guys are just looking for a reason to be mad when this franchise gives us PLENTY of other reasons. This is not one of them.

u/FrostyBrew86 5d ago
Yuki was a fun addition for many of us. That final slot at the end of the bench is highly unlikely to make any meaningful impact on our record, therefore-- since the slot is just for vibes, anyway-- might as well keep Yuki on board.

We knew he was getting waived. What was the point of even having him on the roster? Now the team takes another bad publicity hit that they created for themselves out of thin air.
Also Ty Lue let Yuki run point in the 2nd half verses the Raptors, but can't give Wagler, the 5th pick in the draft, the same opportunity to shine and showcase his ability? "Oh the other lotto picks are shining except Wagler." But look at what they're doing to him. Ty Lue spent the entire first half trying to find a good rotation around washed Lopez and fringe player Christie, and let Yuki run point while Wagler gets scraps and has to figure things out on his own.
