New Student Questions I got in, but now what?

I’ve been accepted to LSU. That much is confirmed. I want to go to the honors college. The benefits seem really solid and would be amazing for my overall functionality and academic pursuits. I have a shot of getting in I think. But I don’t know what to do about the seven sentences. How do I summarize how much this would mean to me how much I need it and demonstrate overall curiosity in only seven sentences? If anyone has any tips or suggestions or just ideas to bounce off of that would be really helpful. 💜💛

3.3 gpa (extenuating circumstances not including senior year)
31 ACT (just took it again today, so this is the old one)
Some honors classes
A steady increasing grades
Chess club
Taekwondo
Yearbook club
(Other clubs I have like 1 to 2 years in, but not as committed as those three)
100 volunteer hours
Internships
2-3 recommendation letters
And I’m a legacy I forgot about that… don’t even know if that matters

You got it definitely. I had 33, higher gpa, but no recs and my only EC was captain of basketball team, and I got in. The priority scheduling is awesome

I’m a junior so it’s been a while, but I wanna say December or January maybe?

Nice I need the seven sentences in by December 1. Did you do a seven sentences or an essay if you don’t mind me asking?

I didn’t write the 7 sentences, I don’t think it was a thing then. My essay was about how my dad was super strict and demanding growing up and how I lowkey thought he was an asshole but with age I realized that he just wanted what was best for me and knew all along and blah blah blah. If I can find it I’ll PM it but I have no clue where it is

Yeah, fair enough. I had an essay I included for the common app about letting myself make mistakes in that perfection is an impossible pursuit. But I still need the seven sentences and I’m gonna be doom scrolling inspirational crap until I can find something I can bounce off of. Writer’s block sucks.

I wanna study the brain. Still working on what exactly but I definitely know I wanna go in the brain. Looking into stuff like neurology. Or just biological sciences that could branch that way.
