Based on the concept art of alien covenant.

The paradise planet original contained engineers instead of the humanoids.

The black goo infect the engineer population and transformed them into the reconstructs.

The concept confused me. Are they supposed be mutants like fiefield or did the xenomorph came from a population engineers. What we see are the middle between xenomorph and engineer.

All those redesigns are beating a dead horse. The original xenomorph was the horror incarnation, we havent experienced ANYTHING like that before movie 1/2. These are just regurgitated ideas with 0 impact.

I genuinely like the mouth ideas of 6 and 7 (don't), but xenomorph and alternate xenomorph monsters dont need to change, in my opinion. Its already done enough we dont need more, but i love seeing the concept art, these guys are cool and unnerving, they just wouldnt do great in the alien franchise
