I'm moving back to Launceston after living interstate and looking for a regular GP. I am female, in my 30s and have some ongoing health conditions. I want a GP that builds a relationship with patients and I can see regularly to monitor my conditions. I don't want someone to just see when I am sick or who just says "what are you here for today?" rather than bigger picture. Any suggestions? Thanks ☺️

What's in season at the moment around Launceston/Tassie? For example, up here in Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast strawberries are in full swing. We also have a lot of tropical fruits and veg.

For Tassie, I'm noticing things like wallaby, octopus, oysters, scallops; is that right?

My number plates have been stolen overnight.

They were registered in another state as I just moved here.

So now I can't drive my car. And I can't drive it to a Service Tas so that I can get my vehicle inspected which is a requirement to get an interstate vehicle registered in Tasmania, a bit of a pickle. I will see if they can make an exception...

We shot another short film in Launceston last month for the 48 Hour Film Competition. Making a scifi in the middle of winter about Tasmania being hit by a record heatwave was not fun for our poor actors who spent the day in singlests drenched in water but I reckon it came up alright! Big love to everyone who helped out, we're all amateurs so I'm so happy with what we achieved.

Random enquiry, but I’m wondering if anyone has any horses in the Launceston area who would enjoy a pat and some apples!

I grew up near a paddock with a bunch of horses and loved spending time with them. I’ve moved to Launceston recently for a really stressful job and I think I’m missing that calming energy! But I also don’t want to intrude and feed someone’s horses without their permission.
