Skipping the usual ascendnat predictions . This time I want to write more about Venus Retrograde, and the real story behind it
Every Venus retrograde, the same posts and question arises in most of the post Ex coming back? or Will someone from my past message me? or Will the relationship survive?
And yes they are true not denying , sometimes it actually happens.
Someone you haven't spoken to in months suddenly texts you & a conversation you thought was closed opens again randomly.
Also you might catch yourself thinking about someone you were sure you'd moved on from.
But here's the thing I want you to think whenever the Venus retro takes place, An ex coming back doesn't mean they're supposed to be in your life or being in a relationship doesn't make you exit from this transit either.
If you're single, you might find yourself looking back at an old connection, or questioning what you actually want. And if you're with someone, you might start noticing things you've been overlooking , there are chances of breakup as well in retrograde.
Also the effort isn't equal. You might not feel appreciate or look fine from the outside, but something's been bothering you for a while. And if an ex shows up while you're with someone else the question isn't "is this a sign?" The main question should be during this retro why is this coming up, and what am I going to do about it?
So let's talk about what's actually happening and can happen in this retro perriod!!
Venus goes retrograde on October 3, 2026 at 8° Scorpio. It will go back into Libra on October 25, turns direct on November 13 (November 14 in India), and clears itself on December 15.
Venus retrograde isn't a guarantee.
Somebody from your past can message you or you hear about them through a friend. Sometimes nobody reaches out at all, and you just realize you're still carrying something that ended a long time ago.
That last one matters too. Because there's a difference between missing a person and missing who you were when you were with them.
Before you call it fate, ask yourself this question in this Venus retro,
Have they actually changed, or do I just miss what's familiar to me ? & Did it end because of circumstances, or because of a pattern neither of us would change?
Also whether interested in who they are now, or who I hoped they'd become , So If they hadn't reached out, would I still want this?
If you're already in a relationship , Now this part gets skipped every year, because everyone's too busy talking about exes.
Not every relationship falls apart during Venus retrograde & not couple separates. You don't need to go looking for problems just because of a transit.
But you can use this time to be honest about what you've been normalizing. Also are you always the one starting the hard conversations or do you keep explaining the same need, hoping this time they'll get it?
Also have you confused patience with accepting something that actually hurts & then the flip side are you giving them a fair chance to understand you, or expecting them to read your mind?
A relationship review isn't about finding fault. It's about looking at the dynamic & sometimes it helps two people repair something.
Sometimes it shows you an incompatibility that was already there & then you realize the relationship isn't the problem the way you've been talking to each other is.
So when the retrograde happens , a better question than "will my ex come back" or Should I breakup
What are you accepting in exchange for your time, energy, and commitment? We need to ask this in retrograde
Now take that outside relationships. At work are you paid fairly? Also In friendships are you always the one showing up? then comes with money , are you spending for your actual needs or to maintain an image?
Sometimes the problem isn't that you don't know your worth. It's that you know what you need but keep making exceptions because you're scared of what happens if you ask for it.
That's the actually way of looking back at things and give a thought about it, what Venus retrograde is actually for,
Now you can watch out for these dates
1. October 20 Venus square Pluto , so here if something blows up around this time, don't confuse the intensity of the emotion for proof that the relationship is deep or destined.
Just ask what it's showing you. Like a trust issue or a fear of rejection or a boundary that wasn't respected? The intensity 100& reveals something, but it doesn't tell you what to do about it.
- October 23–24 Venus meets the Sun. This is Venus's inferior conjunction with the Sun, commonly called a Venus cazimi or Venus Star Point in Western astrology.
But the exact calendar date depends on the time zone. What has become harder to ignore about your relationships, finances, or sense of worth?
What do you want now that you may not have wanted a year ago & what are you finally willing to admit to yourself?
Also please don't expect one magical day to deliver every answer. Just treat it as a checkpoint, not a guaranteed turning point. You may use as reflection.
- October 24 onward , Mercury also turns retrograde : So old conversations might be revisited & there is a chance you might reconsider what someone said, what you heard, or what you wish you'd said.
But remember, revisiting a conversation doesn't mean you have to reopen a relationship.
Sometimes, the most useful conversation is the one that finally gives you closure.
So let me tell you the real take away of Venus retrograde, this time am not going an ascendnat wise, but
Venus retrograde 2026 isn't a promise your ex returns or a guarantee your relationship gets tested & 100 % not a reason to make big decisions out of fear.
But it is a useful set of questions like who do you want to love? What does fair look like to you now & what are you still holding onto? And what are you accepting just because letting go feels harder?
So maybe someone comes back or maybe your current relationship gets stronger because you finally talk honestly & you may realize you don't want either of them anymore.
Honestly, the point isn't that your ex comes back. It's whether you still want them back, knowing what you know now. And if you're already in a relationship, are you happy with what you have, or have you just learned to live with things that bother you?
