Events Who else was at Bryan Adams last night?
I thought that was a great concert. The energy was so good, people were so happy. What did you think?

Yep we were there. I think it was one of the best shows I've been to. It was so good. His voice and energy was as good as it's ever been, and the crowd was seriously into it. Great show.

Agreed, his voice is still so good. Hitting all the high notes. The band was great too.

Yeah! It was a good time! He does a great job, Lights was excellent too. I never listened to much of their stuff but it was good.

It was absolutely amazing! It was my first time seeing him in concert, and he did not disappoint. I only wish the sound was better for Lights as I was enjoying the music, but could hardly hear her over the band!

The amount of times the sound tech had to adjust the mic for her and still couldn't get it right was grinding my gears... I'm no professional sound tech but I know how to balance levels better than that.. They kinda did her dirty. It didn't help that half of the crowd were loudly chattering over her playing, it's sad to see concert etiquette has gone down the drain. I will say it for the people in the back... Opening acts deserve just as much respect as the headliner!!!!!!!!!

no they don't

Every main act was an opener for somebody bigger at some point.. Even Elvis Presley started his career as the opening act, The Beatles opened for Little Richard many times, Bryan Adams started by opening for Journey, Foreigner and Loverboy. If these guys never got the respect they deserved, they wouldn't be the household names they are today.

This is such a soft take. It's AMAZING when an opener is really great and surprises you. Of course seeing Jimi Hendrix opening for the Monkees would be cool. But every opener knows the deal. They're there to play for a big room trying to find their seats who DO NOT GIVE A FUCK. Many of them are actively mid or worse, and I will probably never hear of LIGHTS again as long as I live. Totally mediocre. Best thing she did was a cover of a 30 year old Cher song. Played to a backing track the whole set. I was paying attention and gave it the minimum amount of credit necessary. If an opener is boring, we can talk through it. That's the deal. Nobody DeSerVeS thE sAmE rEspEct aS tHe HeAdLineR.

They're up there putting their asses on the line and performing in front of a crowd just like the headliner. And for the record, Lights' debut album went platinum by the CRIA, and she haa earned multiple Canadian Independent Music Awards, and Juno Awards including Pop Album of the Year.

Yeah tough gig. 40 years old, at it for 20 years. Still canât get a barn in Lethbridge to pay attention while she opens for Bryan Adams on a Tuesday. World is not fair. but listen. itâs their JOB to be entertaining. I was not entertained. itâs on them. I paid for a ticket. I dont owe lights anything. She owes me a better show. Sucks to be mediocre at your job. Maybe write a good song and donât just play it to a backing track and more people will listen.

Crazy how she has had 2 billboard top 20 hits, has had tons of radio play for at least 4 of her songs and in February she sold out MacEwan hall in Calgary and had the entire audience actually moving, dancing and jumping. Don't get me wrong I understand the 1000-1200 people there isn't near the 6000 tickets that were sold for Bryan Adams, but the fact of the matter is they are 2 completely different genres and have completely different fan bases. Most of her fans wouldn't pay for Bryan Adams to see her as the opener. Most of her fans will wait till next year when she will probably be back somewhere in Calgary for $50/ticket. A little tidbit too, she headlined a day at the Stampede in 2025 on the main stage, she isn't unknown.. Just to the small town mentality of Lethbridge.

He played in Lethbridge back in â82 at The Place or Red Lion . It was at 5th on 5th. basement.
He came over and sat with us for an hour before the show.
Hiding From Love was the album/hit.I also think he was here with Sweeney Todd.
Always used to request âIf Wishes Were Horsesâ at his concerts but he never ever recognizes that era of his fame :)Great guy!
So much respect for him and his continued presence playing in Canada.

It was a fantastic concert. I absolutely loved the wristband lights- we were up in the balcony, so we got to see them really well. Marvelous!
I also really liked the huge video screen behind the band - that was really well done. Candy the camera lady is a star, too.
Bryan, Keith, and the drummer and keyboardist were all incredible, too.

It was a fantastic show, with talented musicians, an almost sold out show, and great energy from the crowd. Loved hearing the crowd cheer for đ¨đŚ during 51st State.
