Showcase Okami-themed Stamps

Carved onto Speedball pink stamp block and stamped onto white cardstock with Ranger Distress Archival Inks.

I wanna do a series of letterboxing trading cards with these and then I’m unsure if they’ll go into a traditional letterbox or if I’ll hang onto them to be able to make more zodiac cards on request. I do want to carve all the Celestial Brush Gods from their splash page artwork eventually too.

Awesome! Hope they eventually go out in a letterbox because I'd love to find one

It's been on my mind since before I started carving them for sure! I think it's tricky to keep full sets together, even in quieter places like cemeteries. I've yet to figure out if there's any kind of trick or if that's just the luck of the draw haha

Oh ya I've seen a few series that get interrupted so I get that.

I may be an outlier but I'm not usually a completionist. I use letterboxing as souvenirs for travel so I usually just grab what's close by to things I'm visiting. I guess all that to say - I'd be happy to find one even if it was just the one

I'm not usually either, but this is very much intended to be kept as a complete set, although I suppose that's true of all series haha. I want to make a bunch of LTCs first either way so I have a stockpile for a little bit.

In the back of my mind, I think it'd be nice to be able to send folks an LTC matching their zodiac animal as a gift or for birthdays, which is why I may end up keeping these. I have several prepped boxes that need to go out once life decides to cut me a break long enough for me to have the time and energy haha

You could possibly hide them box of the month style- one box with a rotation of stamps.

These are amazing!!! I love the variation in thick and thin lines. So well done, they look fabulous!
