I loved rediscovering Rocco on social media and seeing him and the guys are doing literally the same stuff a decade (or two?) later. Dudes rock.

I used to work for a company that manufacturers TENs pads. We had one "pelvic floor pads" we would call "taint pads" on the production floor. Never tried that one.

Thats hilarious im glad the guys making them at least had common sense. I may or may not have convinced a couple buddies to do it since i owed one myself

Fun fact, there is a medical procedure to do this to stimulate ejaculation -- Not so fun fact, is the stimulation/shock has to be sent while inside your body...

What's even worse? I don't get it.

It looks like he’s doing the limp wrist against chest movement people use to mock disable people. Honestly probably not worse but obviously ideally it wouldn’t have been either motion

Genuine question, are you serious ? What is supposed to be "online" about that title ? Maybe I am just chronically online so it feels natural to me lol.

u/WorkerPrestigious960 1d ago
Yeah not a “chronically online” title. Mega64 is clearly the name of a group that this Garrett fellow is a part of. Then a “TENS unit” is just a medical device.

Not familiar with them but they seem pretty chill and not obnoxious. Rare traits for people who have been online for so long.

Lean team of friends making content with a loyal audience. They sell merch and have a patreon for their content. They avoided falling for the roosterteeth/funhaus trap and just do their own thing.

It’s pretty incredible that they all stayed friends while also not doing anything creepy compared to so many other Internet celebrities I grew up with.

What trap did Funhaus fall into? They were doing pretty good until RT shut down.

u/COCAINAPEARLZ 1d ago
Joining RT, every content group that partnered with RT ended up failing lol

u/Logondo 1d ago
Funhaus wasn’t failing at the end, though. They were just chained to RT so when RT went down, they went down with them.

The problem was, RT was failing, being held up by the remnants of AH and FH, but, the RT part died way before and we're already held up for so long that after the controversies, AH and FH dropped enough that their anchor holding them down killed them both. FH did a way better job choosing and ingratiating new members then AH did which is why it stayed up better, but the controversy plus covid really wrote all 3 into a coffin. Sucks too I liked all the old members and even some new ones, had they just not been attached to RT I think both would be around still, different but around. I mean shit doesnt take much money to play games yano

James noted that without the Funhaus... I'm not sure if it was actually a Patreon or just something like it, but that they would have shuttered before RT proper did.
I don't agree with joining RT being a "trap," but if FH was really profitable, WB would have salvaged it.

They changed the original members with various new members that didn't have the same vibe as the original crew, had a member crash and burn with a huge sex scandal, and had various original members leave to make their own channels which also died. I liked funhaus, not saying this in anger.
Mega64 has the 4 same dudes who grew up with each other and a supporting team. They fly under the radar. If they got bought out like other channels from the same era, they'd likely have been killed like rooster teeth and whatever other various gaming channels died out.

They avoided falling for the roosterteeth/funhaus trap and just do their own thing.
Anyone that was involved in the founding of roosterteeth is set for life though, are they not?
Hard to think a life where you no longer have to work again as being a trap.

u/Disincarnated 1d ago
Well I guess it just depends on how you view work and life. Maybe they would have sold out if given the opportunity. Maybe they like creative freedom. Money isn't everything.

These guys really fell off since rooster teeth closed down huh? Or was it before that?
Just look at the channel views... They don't get anything
