I am NOT a locksmith. Dorman 99367

I am trying to replace the battery on my Dorman replacement key fob. I am familiar with this style key fob but for some reason when I took the back off no battery is displayed. Am I missing something or does Dorman not allow for the battery to be replaced and the model is 99369.

Should be a three part shell

How would I access it. It’s a Dorman not a factory Nissan key. Was wondering if that’s their way to get people to keep buying more keys.

Should be 2 indents on the flat side you can pry apart. At least that’s how it is on every other Nissan prox key I’ve seen. Also get a second copy Dorman is absolute trash. I’ve never dealt with any keys from them but everything else they sell is the bottom of the barrel

This is what I see when I remove the back panel

Looks like the part you removed isn’t supposed to be removed. If you look up from where you insert the key (when it’s out together) there should be groves intended to pry open with a flat head screwdriver or something similar

If you can't figure it out, bring it back to AutoZone
