Hi! I'm u/c_loud90, founding moderator of r/Lofi_Beats_Submission.
This is our new home for all things {{ lofi hip-hop, especially playlist submissions}}. We're thrilled to have you on board!
What to Post
Please only post open calls for playlists and reply in the comments with a link to your music. If you're looking to self-promote your music, this isn't the place for you.
Community Atmosphere
We aim to be friendly, constructive, and inclusive. Let's build a space where everyone can feel comfortable sharing and connecting!
Getting Started
Please don't spam music or channels unless it's to participate in curator calls. We're a small group of enthusiasts trying to build a genuine network of beat makers and curators, so let's keep this board clean; help us keep it alive.
If you know someone who might enjoy this community, please invite them to join.
Sometimes you might encounter spam while scrolling through the wall. This happens because we don't clean every day; it would be too much work and would become unsustainable. We ask you to be patient and look past the spam on the wall; I know you can do it :D
Thank you for being part of this group. Let's make r/Lofi_Beats_Submission awesome together!

Growing has never been so good :) since 2020 we're the ones who created a free and easy space to connect curators and beat makers, just for fun not for business. We only exist with you and we thank you for putting your ideas and music out there. we're cool <3

Where can i find music?
1
Upvotes
Hey everyone! Iām currently building an ambient/lofi music channel, but one thing Iāve been struggling with is finding good music that I can legally use.
Hereās an example of one of my videos:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JzdkKDYPtpQ
I always try to properly credit the artists whenever required, but Iām curious where everyone else gets their music from.
Right now, I mostly search through Pixabay and similar royalty-free sites, looking for tracks that are either copyright-free or come with a license that allows use on YouTube.
Does anyone have any recommendations for good websites, artists, libraries, or other places to find quality ambient/lofi music thatās safe to use and monetize?
Any advice would be appreciated!

Put together a new lofi & ambient compilation for the late-night hours. I wanted this one to feel slow, quiet and a little melancholic.
I curated the tracks and built the visuals around the music and the mood I wanted the mix to have.
The music is licensed, and I'm still experimenting with the visual direction of the channel.
Hope someone here enjoys it.
