Going to The Cause for this event, anyone else going?

We're looking for the right move tonight (Saturday 17/10) but welcome input for other nights as the info could be useful to others in our predicament.

It's already after 11pm, and we'd like a club or event with house music (or possibly UKG, breaks), no long lines, reasonable price, and a crowd where we won't feel too out of place.

I’m thinking of travelling to London for Ignez all night long at Palais, but I’ve never been to the venue before.

For those who’ve been, what’s the crowd and overall vibe like? Is it a good place for a proper night of hypnotic techno, with people actually dancing and being there for the music, rather than chatting on the dancefloor?

How’s the sound system, and would you recommend it for someone going solo?

I’d love to hear your honest opinions before making the trip. 🖤👽

Apologies if this is a weird post. I've been living in London for a couple of years and want to explore the scene here. I'm new to racing as a whole and it's a little intimidating to go out alone. On why I mentioned my ethnicity: I feel the online vitriol got to me a bit and just wanted to know if ethnicity matters anywhere or if I should keep my guard up at certain places.

We run INFERNO, a trans-led queer rave in London, and thought I’d share this here after the lovely response to our post about queer raving last week.

We’re doing our Halloween party INFERNO’WEEN: Blood & Glamour on Friday 30 October at The Distillery N17.

We’ve been running INFERNO for nearly 12 years and Halloween is always one of our favourite ones because people really go for it. Lots of club kids, drag, DIY looks, fashion, blood, glamour and general queer weirdness.

Musically it’ll be hard dance across the night with DOLLAXIS, GODDESS, Nadine Noor, Putas Vampiras and Lewis G. Burton, plus a performance from S0L.

One thing we’re trying to bring back more intentionally is that feeling of the dancefloor being somewhere you actually dance and lose yourself. In the smoking are you can take photos, show off your look, absolutely, but then put the phone away and have a proper rave on dancefloor.

The theme is an invitation rather than a dress code.

We’re two weeks out now, so if anyone is thinking of coming, come say hi. And if you’ve been to INFERNO before, I’d actually love to know: what’s been your favourite INFERNO memory?

Anyone going to ministry of sound tonight for seven lions? I’d love to go dance with a group instead of on my own. I’m 39, male, and PLUR.

I’m also not a London (or UK) local…yet. Here visiting family, I saw seven lions this summer at a festival in Utah and when I found out they’d be here I knew I’d be going 🤩

Got that spontaneous feeling to go to a rave tonight, saw this going on at Phonox and thought it could be decent. Anyone else going or know more what it'll be like? Its closer than heading into central which I quite like the idea of
