I mean, in every other romance scene, there’s at least some background noise while it’s happening, Panam had some strange techno music playing, Judy and Kerry had actual songs like Only You and Archangel. River’s is just… too quiet. there’s like some noises of I think police sirens? and like that’s cool and all but is that really the only way to signify River’s character? I guess it’s just kind of a shock since it seems to different from all the rest in terms of tone lmao

Okay so I was sitting on the couch with Kerry then out of nowhere judy appeared and laid on my lap. Then as male V i was able to interact with her thought it was funny male V had lines for her lmao. Then when I could finally stand up (had to keep repeating dialogue options to stand) I then saw Panam and River spawn in.

If we’re going under the guise that The events of 2077 happens in just one month, meaning the last time we see Royce is at the totentanz weeks later after we’ve last seen him at All Foods. Where would you say it goes from here? from what we’ve seen, Royce is incredibly impulsive. So he might go about picking a fight that’ll end up costing his life.. similar to what would happen if you shoot Royce after he tries to rip you off. so I’d say not long, probably

I just finished the game for the first time and got the sun ending (fucking sick btw) and during the credits I get the call where takemura chews me out for destroying/destabilizing arasaka. It just sucks because if he didn’t dedicate his entire life to protecting these objectively evil billionaires he’d be a pretty good friend.

When I played through the section where you talk to him on that rooftop before breaking into that warehouse it genuinely made me believe you’d be able to turn him away from the arasakas because of his childhood growing up poor and getting scouted for the military by the corpos. I thought he’d eventually see how his sense of honor is actually misplaced due to how the corpos are harming millions of lower class people who were just like him when he was a kid but I guess it just wasn’t meant to happen.

I really wish there was a character path for him where you could convince him to abandon his allegiance to Arasaka as a company but you’d still help him get revenge for the murder of his master and then he’d just walk away and allow you to do what you have to do while still respecting you.
