Trying to unlock Thanos

I need help trying to get through the Lambda rift to unlock Thanos. What is a good team, without any DLC characters, to unlock Thanos? Also what is the minimum character level for the team? Thanks in advance!

You don't have to do rifts to unlock thanos anymore. One of the event missions unlocks him way earlier. I can't remember which one though.

The lambda rift requires you to get thru superior story, but the event might not. I dont remember how to do the event missions because I did not use any of them for unlocks back then. If you would like to play online, my discord is under the same username, and there are some discords I have joined that i can link.

Na the events are just normal challenges that got added for free.

Right i dont remember what exactly unlocks each character, since i didnt do it that way. I know some examples of what they say but idk what the rewards specifically give
