Need tips
Can anyone give me some tips on how to make the game easier? I’m getting wrecked no matter what I do, the only character ive found to be good so far is Ms Marvel.
I tried searching here on Reddit for which characters are considered the best and tried Wolverine, Cyclops, Psylocke, and Nightcrawler, they were all terrible for me, except Wolverine, who was okay.
Am I doing something wrong? This game is honestly the hardest game Ive ever played, i played Sekiro, Dark Souls, Elden Ring, and other “difficult” games, and I never had this much trouble with any of them.
I’m currently on Chapter 6, and my characters are around level 25–30, I’m mainly using Ms. Marvel, Wolverine, Psylocke, and Cyclops as i said
Also the difference in damage between ms marvel and the others is big, her rotating kick is reaching like 5k to 10k damage and stunning enemies in seconds, wolverine's abilities only reach like 2k max
If anyone can help me i would be grateful and sorry for the big text :)

The only things I can add are:
- Dodge all the time. It's the best way to mine around during battle unless you're attacking, jumping, or flying.
- Match the ISO to your characters.
I guess one more that helped me: I generally try to have a tank hero. Put defensive ISO on them as well as ISO that increase likelihood that they'll be targeted by the enemy if you have them. Try not to switch to them because they'll take more damage when you do. It's how this game "fixes" computer controlled heroes being stupid.

My first team was wolverine, deadpool, venom and hulk for almost the whole game. I dont remember it being challenging. Venom has always clicked with me and was my main. Imo the game gets easier on harder difficulties whem your higher level, at least it did for me.

Have you been upgrading your heroes and the hexagonal nodes?

Yes to both, i also try to upgrade the ISO8 things even tough most of them look pretty bad right now, im having a hard time testing other characters too since most of them are level 10 or so, i dont know if i should use xp crystals on my current 4 characters or use them on the lower level ones

It's a lot easier to stick with one team for your first play through and to use synergy attacks whenever. Where are you stuck exactly?

Im not really stuck now, after chapter 6 i started having a really hard time and got stuck in a part right after loki,then i had to grind on infinity rifts for some time, now im able to continue but the other 2 characters besides ms marvel and wolverine are still really weak.
- I was not doing synergy attacks before, now im doing it and yes it helps a lot, still much harder then other games ive played.

Just stay consistent with your team, unless they have bad synergy. If you really just want to barrel through to the end you could add Crystal and Star Lord to your team. They have a good diverse move pool and synergize with almost anyone.

One thing that really helps with synergies is to make sure you’ve got someone on your team with a tornado attack. Tornados synergize with nearly everything. Wasp is my go to, but Star-lord, Crystal, Storm, and (I think) Loki all make tornados as well. There may be one or two more that I’m not remembering

Nothing wrong with overleveling your guys too. Go into Infinity and find a "beat 200 guys" or "beat as many as you can in X minutes" and do that for like an hour, you'll level up like crazy and being overleveled is definitely a plus!

MUA3 has since installed a permanent calendar of events that help you unlock DLC characters earlier and give you a bunch of XP cubes to level up. To activate it, you need to "update" the game on the main menu.
Once you do so, you're then given a bunch of event missions -- Reed's Remarkable Rewards, etc. -- that expire in like 3,000 days. For some of these missions, you'll earn XP cubes and SHIELD tokens. But others let you unlock certain characters early. For instance, you can unlock Iceman early if you "Defeat 20 powerful enemies and win in Danger Room mode."

Those are all great characters in this game. If youre playing mighty difficulty story, then level 30 should be fine, but it is not so easy at that level. I have a guide and tierlist in my google doc i made if it helps, but as the other comments say, synergies help a ton since they are "greater than the sum of their parts". Also, getting dlc characters will help a ton, but if you want to play online, let me know

Also, if you haven’t unlocked Jean Grey, I would suggest doing that as soon as you can. And if you have her already, get her leveled up to where your main characters are at using xp cubes. Then level up Jean’s cleansing flame. Use her to drop cleansing flame. Make sure she is in the middle of the flame, and then switch to Ms Marvel and bring Ms Marvel into the flame. As long as Ms Marvel and Jean are in that flame, you can spam Ms Marvel’s spin to win synergy while Jean’s cleansing flame keeps replenishing Ms Marvel’s energy.

I loved Ghost Rider and Wasp for areas control, my brother loves Scarlet Witch when we played multiplayer (she has a ranged attack and healing aura) and Storm is awesome.
Also used these heros alot Thor (similar to Ghost Rider but not strong enough), Ice Man (he freezes enemies solid) Miles Morales (also does area control but that's about it.)
Cable and Iron Man (add on Dr Doom if you master synergy attacks) go great together, Cables gravity grenade and then beam attack is my new favorite over Ghost Riders motorcycle attack. (Captain Marvel also has a beam attack that can synergize)
lso Black Panter and Mr Fantastic are kinda bread and butter

This game takes time because of the heavy grinding you want to focus unlocking rifts and then when unlocked doing those so you can increase your damage, health, EP, and defense in the alliance enhancement skill tree.
