Moped/Motorcycle parking
Anyone from mtu know what parking situation is like for mopeds and small commuter motorcycles? I’m interested in MTU and I’ve heard of people riding them around so i’m curious about parking when it comes to this type of stuff. Granted it's mtu and i'm aware of how many months/weeks out of the year I could even use it. but still, any input is appreciated!
EDIT: I got the answer I needed, thank you kind people.

I rode, there are several spots around campus specifically for motorcycles. You need a permit, which is $60 for the year. We have a super cool club with like minded individuals you can join too (definitely not self promotion)

The motorcycle parking spot behind Dillman is the best parking on campus. Easy in/out and centrally located on campus.

Moped parking is so much cheaper & better than a car. Basically in the middle of campus.
Plenty of people ride/rode them all winter long because of it.

would you recommend it for a incoming freshman?

If you're staying in dorms it's not necessary at all, the campus is tiny and easy to walk everywhere.
Bringing a car is more worth it if you want to make the most of your time, and get outside for hiking/mountain biking/skiing & etc... you'll be going to school right next to some of the best skiing and mountain biking in the Midwest between copper harbor and Mount bohemia.
