Macklemore performed at a private gala I attended about 2 years ago. He was the most down to earth humble person who ever graced this particular stage, IMO. Iโve had a different kind of respect for him ever since. Iโm glad the world also gets to see his true beauty.

Just joined this sub. Admittedly, I grew up never caring much for Macklemore, but his will to stand up for whatโs right and use his platform for good has turned me into a huge fan. He has more courage than the vast majority of people with said platform and that is clearly rare and special.

I tend to find when people say that they have only ever heard his top charting commercial songs.
If you get chance check out some of his lesser known hits like Otherside.
There's a while other side to him musically.
