Hi! I'm a grad student conducting research on mahjong for a project toward my Masters' program. I am fascinated by the storm American mahjong has taken over in the past few years, and am wanting to understand the role mahjong plays in different peoples' lives! Might want to specify if you're looking at mahjong in general, or NMJL in the survey. I answered how I play NMJL, which is rather different than I play MCR or Riichi.

Also in your question of how many times do you play a week you need to specify “in person”, online or both (but count them separately).
