From what I remember they got into an argument while planning a video and then they just stopped being friends and stopped talking. I could be wrong but that’s what I remember

That was during a time when Jack didn't know when to stop pushing people's buttons, and Mikey just had enough. Jack has calmed down slow since then, and respects other's boundaries. At least that's what I've heard, don't know how true any of it is, but honestly it sounds believable.
