Newbie Just finished my first full marathon at the Baltimore running festival.
Thanks for all the advice in this sub! Next time I will prepare better for the after 20 mile push. I felt fine but my calves were getting stiff around then. Lots of things to improve but hit my goal of sub 4.
The event was great and the community was awesome. Special shout out to the pacers and the crowd! I hardly ever cry but I was crying a bit after the finish. This one was for my Mom ποΈ

Great freakin' job going sub-4 in your first! I've run Baltimore and it's not an easy course, especially those miles around the zoo. Good work and congratulations!

Hell yeah! Great job. Sub 4 is sweet enough but more importantly it sounds like you had fun. A great crowd/vibe is everything.
