Question Help with shooting gallery simulation

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I have to do a kind of shooting gallery simulation using Mash and Maya Dynamics. I made one with MASH (Random, Dynamics, Offset, Distribute, etc.). This is how it's looking so far, but how can I make the arrows stick into the targets and not falling down?

I tried increasing the friction, and it works on the floor, but not on the targets or the walls. What can I do to improve this?

You could bake the sim and delete all they keys after impact would be the easiest, or you can use MASH newton fields or glue constraints would probably be the way to go. You can create a falloff object and place it at the dart board so when the darts cross it they freeze on contact.

sorry for my ignorance, but how can I bake my simulation?

This is an animation work, not a simulation one.
You could do the sim, but it would be quite difficult and long.

any reason why you are doing this with RBD? if you going to simulate this you will have a lot more control with the particle solver instead
