He is on Axl Rose level for me, good in studio, often struggling live. But he is a guitar god in addition.

It really does come down to preference. Most music, singers, art, and movies I find fucking incredible. Others trash on all the time.

Daves singing is one of those things. Sounds god tier to me, but most people love to hate it.

he sings well and it fits the music. i don't think he's better than James. He brings a ton to the table with his guitar playing and changed metal forever. his voice is a side bonus.

He can sing well, I’m just not a huge fan of his voice. Imagine a good guitar player with a sub par tone. It’s like that for me.
