Well I’m 40. I was around 15 when I was first introduced to nu-metal and it set off a life long love affair with all kinds of rock music. So I’ll forever be thankful to the scene.

Your lack of pretence is refreshing, I’ll give you that.

People can still be nostalgic about it. Second that, i have been listening to tech death for years and did not "grow up with Limp Bizkit". And still think Limp Bizkit is groovy as fuck.

Im sure there are people that throw it on for nostalgia reasons but also nu metal is pretty big with younger people too.

I was never a limp bizkit fan, my gateway band was linkin park. I did try out hybrid theory a year or so ago for nostalgia reasons - it didn’t stay on very long.
