In a televised interview, Janet with a sad voice, she said that you don't do that to a friend- What he did (or didnt do). I stand by what I said based on what I saw during that event.

You should. It's a great portray of Janet. She didn't want him to say anything that would just continue to draw attention or make an additional media target. She also stated they are still friends and hopes the world can just move on from continuing to talk about it.

Yep that’s what it looks like, some improv steps and kind of just winging it, but he still had an idea of how he wanted to finish, it didn’t lack of the better word ‘sync’ correctly.

Yeah when I first saw this i said to myself this look like a last minute things. Not enough rehearsal time. Cause mj didn't get in sync with music he put his arm up late.

Micheal looks awesome here , iconic look. The Dancing def lacks the precision he is known for but I like the energy.
Even back then I couldn't stand JT. Listen to those awful scatting noises. Just terrible

"Pop" is a Midwest thing. "Soda" is West Coast. "Coke" is Deep Southern.

This was such a head-scratching moment for me! I remember thinking how random this was for MJ of all people to appear out of nowhere and perform with NSYNC of all people! Even as a small kid at the time, I understood the enormity of MJ’s incomparable star power. So naturally I was very perplexed by this happening! Imagine eating stale Cheetos and then randomly getting served perfectly cooked super expensive filet mignon.

I heard somewhere that he was actually supposed to perform a song too but Sony was mad at him so they cut it down to just a 40 second dance. Idk if that’s true or not, I just read it somewhere.
