MAC showing up in the ESPN Bottom 10
As usual multiple teams... https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/50119421/college-football-bottom-10-week-5-michigan-back
Sac State, Ball St. and Akron all make it in.
Although BG moved to the waiting list with their upset win. IMO probably off of even the waiting list after (likely) beating Sac St. next week.

Unfortunately it’s only going to get worse. In the days of player movement and NIL, conferences like the MAC (who I love and have parents who went to a MAC school so I often cheer for them) are going to struggle to retain talent and struggle to recruit against the bigger schools more than ever before.
Remember how every once in a while there’d be a star QB or a star RB who played 4 years for a MAC school, took them to MAC championships, maybe even garnered some national attention his senior year? Maybe that star linebacker who was 195 lbs when he got to campus and finally grew into his body and put on 35 lbs? (Cooper Rush, Dan LeFevour at CMU for example). Now after they show some ability their sophomore or junior year, the Big Ten, the Big 12, maybe even the SEC come calling. Those star players leave every year to chase the money and the fame.
And I don’t blame them. Get paid while you can. Get that money because even a MAC star isn’t guaranteed NFL success but when Michigan or Penn State offer you $2 million to come play for them, how do you say no?? And the MAC schools can’t match that offer.
