Football Week 7 Preview: Kent State Golden Flashes vs University of South Florida Bulls

https://allflashes.substack.com/p/week-7-preview-kent-state-golden?r=457uun&utm_medium=ios

Hi Folks! I’ve been on a quest to go to every Kent State Football game this season. Halfway through the regular season, I’ve been a perfect 6/6 and hopefully it stays that way (knock on wood). I’ve started writing previews about our team since some people encouraged me to start doing some sports writing. Let me what you guys think!

Yeah I think dude definitely is a fighter, great guy in the locker room. He has developed into more of a dual threat option this year rather than going for explosive plays through the air, but that has also been bc our gameplan is more methodical. Thrown a few more picks than he did last year, but most of those came at garbage time. I think he’ll rebound though now that we’re settling into conference play entirely after this. Dude can lob it though, it does scare me when he goes on the run or goes down because of his injury history.

Yeah, I also think he’s good. My problem with Kent has nothing to do with him it’s that they just always fuck up in stupid ways. That Ou game was so disappointing, hate that I have to watch another slaughter this week but hopefully they can get on a heater in Mac play

That Ohio game was super frustrating considering that was a game I wrote off myself and they got that close. I support Carney’s aggressive play calling most of the time, but sometimes he confuses me. I think they have a good opportunity to win most of their remaining games tho!

If BG was competent against USF, I feel confident in not getting blown out :)

Winning by 2 and then storming the field with the other fans. Already sending me chills.

Good luck, comrades. MAC could really use a win.
