Nostalgia Who else was traumatized by this Disney Channel movie? π
Iβm rewatching this for the first time since it originally aired in 1999, and OMG. π I remember being absolutely TERRIFIED of this movie as a kid, but itβs also bringing back so much nostalgia!
Please tell me Iβm not the only one who remembers this nightmare fuel π±

Disney actually took it off the air for a while because parents complained that it was too scary!

This movie terrified me and my mom tried to ban it because it gave me awful nightmares but I wanted to watch it constantly π

The one that traumatized me was the Disney channel original that opened with a kidβs grandfather dead, as in we see the corpse in his chair in front of the tv dead of a heart attack? And then it becomes about the grandson, his friends, and some ghosts, Eric Idle was one?

the pool turning into jello is kinda mad.
One of Disney's better original kids movies.

I watched this movie with a friend who lived down the street from me as a kid. That night, his parents called my parents claiming that their kid was terrified and traumatized and they were furious that we let him watch a rated βRβ movie. Even when my dad explained that we had watched a Disney Channel Original movie, they never let him hang out at my house again π€£

This was one of the first things I watched after we got cable! Just a coincidence but it was fascinating

I had totally forgotten this existed and I got an immediate chill up my spine when I saw the picture. Hello childhood trauma, my old friend.
