I was hyped for both when I learned of them years ago.
But ultimately Mina was the one that I actually bought. Mewgenics changed so much over the years I kinda lost interest.

It’s a good time. I’m only in act 2 of it, but it’s pretty niche even by the standards of its genre.

Both are bangers, two of my favorite games of all time. Honestly couldnt choose which deserves it more.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's gonna be neither that wins. -_-

I haven't played Mewgenics, but I... don't really vibe with it. Cats are a pretty boring animal to use in fantasy, the artstyle's kinda meh, the game feels rather grim, and, oh yeah: they made Snorlax a reccuring villain. Turning one of my favorite Pokemon into a badguy already makes me not want to play.
(Also, no chonky playable cats, either. -_-)

Now why is this sillyness showing up in my feed? I don't even remember coming into this subreddit.
Belmont's curse will make short work of this.

It’s definitely Mina. Mewgenics would have a better chance if:
- they had released within a reasonable timeframe of announcing this game
- didn’t rely so heavily on ‘edgy’ humour
- didn’t use a bunch of stunt casting for voicing the cats that backfired when people realise who they had used
- wasn’t buggy as hell
