Question Astral Orrery help
(Edit: resolved, tysm I was being stupid lol)
No spoilers please (if possible)
This is my first play through and I can’t lie I’ve gotten quite stuck, i don’t want to just look up what to do as I’ve had a lot of fun figuring it out myself, but I could really use a nudge in the right direction
I’ve completed every generator except Astral Orrery so far, and the game keeps hinting at going inside mirrors to get there.
I’ve seen the person going inside the mirrors all over the place throughout the game but nothing I try seems to let me go through the mirrors.
Am I just missing something? Am I not supposed to do this right now? I’m really not sure and could use a hint

when you see something interesting try to copy what you see in the environment, sometimes the game is telling you how to do some without actually telling you directly

Find a mirror and keep walking into it. It takes a second

If it makes you feel any better, it's not very obvious (as much as people in this sub like to claim otherwise) and a ton of people have gotten stuck on this exact same thing, including one pretty well known game reviewer.
I figured it out pretty quickly myself but instantly realized that a lot of people will probably not.

personally i immediately tried it the first time i saw the guy do it but i see how people could miss the guy in the manor going in

I also tried it immediately after.
Tried for less than the required time, game didnt provide any feedback that something was happening, never attempted it again and had to eventually go to the internet for help.Given the amount of people that regularly ask for help regarding this just shows it was a bad design choice/lack of QA.

also got stuck on this don't feel bad lol. it doesn't help that they give you the ability to make seemingly complex inputs when you interact with it that have nothing to do with their main usage

Have you tried just walking straight into it? Like walking into a wall (mirror).
