I adore the building, the styling reminds me of home <3
one thing to note is we don’t really have water towers in the UK due to our plumbing systems, if there are some they’re usually derelict ruins which more usually resemble medieval towers!

southern american farms are from a very very very english cultural substrate. went to a 1700s living history event at a recreated farm in the great smoky mountains national park. the techniques, architecture, smithing, etc. 90% of the farm was English with the remaining 10% a mix of African and indigenous methods. The gourd chimes everywhere was an African technique of keeping birds away and the corn houses were indigenous. by the end of the 1800s, indigenous people were forced out of the east and the farms looked very different. What made American culture diverge from English was mostly from the African influences incorporated into song, farming, and architecture by enslaved farm workers. The banjo, rice, okra, collard greens, even Georgian architecture; What we know as southern American cooking and southern farming is a fusion of English and African cultural substrates.

depends where you are! There are areas in South East England that have watertowers bc they get less rain than we do up north. Was super surprised when we drove past some down there!

This reflects a lot of walks i took in the countryside as an introverted teen - 10/10!

Is this what vibrant visuals looks like? I can't tell if this is just really deepfried shaders or AI generated.
