I genuinely love Miscrits, and that's exactly why it's frustrating to see how much potential this game has that isn't being used.
Arena takes forever to progress through, farming gets boring when you're constantly catching commons, and the drop rates for anything exciting feel ridiculously low. You can spend hours playing and still feel like you've barely made any meaningful progress.
For context, I already have 4 maxxed Relic Miscrits that are very strong in Arena, so this isn't just a complaint from someone who hasn't put time into the game. I've invested the time, built my team, and experienced what the game has to offer. But even then, the lack of rewarding content and variety becomes noticeable.
At this point, the only things I genuinely look forward to are when the month changes and we get that one Common Crate in the random arena, or when an event comes around that gives us a chance to buy crates. Outside of that, what are we actually working towards?
There are no proper, rewarding missions that make you excited to log in every day. There's so much more that could be added: side quests, daily missions, weekly challenges, better farming rewards, more redeemable codes, unique encounters, and progression systems that reward the time players put in.
The biggest problem is that the game doesn't give new players enough reasons to stay. I've tried getting my friends into Miscrits, but they lose interest when they realise how slow everything is. Imagine how many more players we could have if progression felt rewarding, there was always something new to do, and newcomers could actually experience the fun without hitting a massive grind wall.
The community has passion. People still play, discuss the game, farm, collect Miscrits, and look forward to events. With consistent updates and some genuinely engaging content, this community could grow massively. The game could attract so many more players if there were reasons to keep coming back.
I'm not asking for everything to be handed to us. Grinding is part of the game, and rare Miscrits should feel special. But there's a difference between a rewarding grind and repeating the same boring process for hours with almost nothing to show for it.
Why aren't the developers doing more to build on what they already have? Even a few meaningful updates, regular events, redeemable codes, and rewarding missions could make a huge difference.
Miscrits has the foundation, the nostalgia, and a community that genuinely cares. There's still so much to do with this game, and it feels like we're barely scratching the surface of its potential.
Devs, if you're reading this, please give the community something to get excited about. We want this game to grow, not slowly lose players because progression becomes a chore.
What do you guys think? What changes would actually make you play more, and what would convince your friends to start playing Miscrits?
