Product Review Don't but the standard version.

Noisy as hell, everything is squeaking and creaking. Suspension is rattling.

Getting rid of this shit as soon as possible.

It's the roads. It's not a dud. I don't think Tesla engineers know just how bad the roads can get in some otherwise "ok" ish cities. The only manufacturer I kind of feel has got this is Volkswagen/Audi. They perform flawlessly even on broken up Eastern European roads.

Also be aware that while the premium makes the bump absorption and noise intrusion into the cabin better, the road noise or tyre roar can still be pretty high. Is what I have found with mine at least. It's quite except for the road noise really gets into the cabin when traveling at higher than even 50 or 60 kph.

Kidding aside yes that’s pretty loud. Have you taken it back to Tesla to see if everything is normal? Did you test drive one before buying that car?

The roof is still glass, but the liner covers it. Its also not the same glass. I think its a combination of a cheaper process that doesn't focus on UV coatings etc, and/or, glass that didnt pass QC but was fine enough to just blacken the under side.

Since when this was introduced. I thought back then they had a sun roof for all Teslas.

A few months ago? Erlier this year maybe. 

Yes they all do, except this model and some early model S's and roadsters. 

Also I think they are moon roofs. Sunroofs open and only some model S's had that as an option.
