Burned Seats

Has anyone had the heating element burn their seat? I just turned on the back seat heater for the first time and this happened 😟.

I hope so, I just got the car a month ago. Besides it messing up the seats, it’s definitely a safety concern too.

So, was there something in the seat? It's possible it's just dye transfer to the seat that was brought out by the heat. Try wiping it with a baby wipe.

Just my dog but she’s small and she was laying more closer to the door, so not directly over that spot. I did try wiping it off and nothing.

If that is in the outline of the underlying heating element then there's a case that it was directly caused by it.
