Tattoos Modest Tats
People often share their cool modest tats. This is my not so cool one. I was so young, freshly 18 and got this. I wanted it dainty, but he said he couldn’t do the typewriter font any smaller. The triangle was part of it as well. Honestly he didn’t do well. But it’s been on me so long (14 yrs) I don’t even really see it anymore. Wish I could get a re-do. Anyone else have modest tat blunders? I guess it’s not too bad idk. Just a block of ink😂
Bonus fun fact: my sister had downloaded this song off limewire when I was pretty young. They had misspelled it and it was titled “Ocean Breathes Sally” so for many years I wasn’t actually sure what the name of the song really was

It matters to you. So if it does what you wanted it to, it's perfect.
I'm going to have mine draft me a box in a cage pretty soon. That one's been in my head for over a year now. Just need to decide where to put it.

Yeah holy shit core memory unlocked there. For some reason I remember it as “Ocean Breeze is Sally” but I could either have downloaded a different one or I’m misremembering ¯\(ツ)/¯

I have always wanted their lyrics on my body and I adore this! Maybe get someone good to go over it in the future to make it shine again.

not gonna lie i think this is one of the coolest modest mouse tats i've seen because its so different and i guess i never thought about how those words look written! i just only ever sang them, but when typed out in this manner it looks really nice!

I'd love to get a tiny cities made of ashes tattoo at some point
The World is My Ashtray would be cool to have I think

I have the same exact lyrics on my arm! I also have a shitty "broken hearts want broken necks" that needs touched up and I know it won't age well. But I wanted it to be a shitty tattoo, so whatever. I like it.

Stars are projectors, third planet is sure they’re being watched by an eye in the sky, moon and antarctica, satellite skin
About 20 years old. I ran out of money and then got old

Third planet is sure that they’re being watched is my favorite. One of my favorite modest songs

the actual lyric is "couldn't" but i was the one who changed it. the linework isn't as clean as i'd like but it's not my sloppiest tattoo lmao

There is no such thing as a bad MM tattoo. Yours is awesome.
