Experienced Fitness Coach looking to relocate

Hi,

I'm a 40 yo fitness coach from Germany and looking to relocate to the Côte. I hold a masters degree in pharmaceutical science from a German elite university and my style of work is strictly evidence based i.e. a scientific approach.

I fell in love with the Côte d'Azur many years ago and now want to relocate to either Cap Ferrat or Monaco.

I speak basic french (could improve fast if needed), decent English and basic Vietnamese.

I thought about approaching luxury hotels and lend out my services to them, what do you think about that?

Like I said, my services are very different from your classic personal trainer, due to my background in science plus I'm collaborating with doctors from the Charité Berlin to fulfill all lifestyle medicine needs. Also a lot of experience with high profile clients, mostly entertainment industry.

Just looking for some input here! Thank you

ps. when you get the chance: Lemon Tartelette at Mademoiselle in Cap Ferrat. Thank me later ;)

As someone who recently moved to Monaco, I think your idea sounds really interesting! 😊

I have a background in natural health and lifestyle coaching myself, so your science-based approach caught my attention.

I’m curious, how does your approach differ from traditional personal training?

I could definitely imagine there being interest in more personalised health and fitness coaching here, both through luxury hotels and directly with residents.

And that lemon tart sounds tempting, although I’d have to find a gluten-free version! 😄

I don't know how much contact you had with "regular"personal training, but most is....let's say subpar 😄

I cover all the bases i.e. muscle building, fat loss, behavorial change from an evidence based perspective. By that I mean all the measures taken can be justified by current scientific evidence. Basically the stuff I do with top athletes like MMA fighters and powerlifters are adjusted and tailored to the needs of general population individual.

On top of that, we look at blood work, might explore some additional medical treatment like HRT etc.

If I recall correctly, Mademoiselle has some gluten free options as well ;)

What are you doing in Monaco?

Oh, that’s an interesting approach! I like that you focus on evidence-based training and look at health from a broader perspective.

Thanks for the tip about Mademoiselle! I’ll have to check out their gluten-free options. 🤭

As for Monaco, I recently moved here, so I’m still settling in and exploring the area! 😊

ah did you just relocate "for fun" or did you find work there? I thought about relocating first myself, but it seems to be quite the hassle with setting up a bank account etc. and with a net worth about 2 mil, it might be a little steep right now.

Also check out Mirazur in Menton for a great dinner experience :)
