Morality Ranking Morality of exterminating dangerous breeds of an otherwise tamed species?

Dangerous to people, and not just having a better build/jaw strength etc. And also this particular breed(s) are the only dog breeds to have a lobby protecting them in the west btw

Yep, it’s not even about the owners anymore, they’re a man made breed and with these stats we should stop breeding them.

Do you also look at racial crime statistics in humans and draw the same conclusions? I personally don't, just curious about you. Many racists love this "pitbulls are inherently violent" theory though.

The instincts that pit bulls have and the instincts that humans have are not even close to the same.

No point trying to blur the line. Pit bulls were created for blood sport. They should not be bred any longer.

Different breeds of dog differ in ways beyond skin tone, so you can categorise them while disavowing racism without being hypocritical afaik?

Were those humans literally bred to be the most efficient killers over tens or even hundreds of generations, with it being the only trait that mattered? Kinda doubt that.

i’m black and i’m not racist but it’s still a good point. I have yet to hear anyone actually come up with a valid argument for why it’s not equivalent

Pitbulls are not a natural breed, they’re man-made/ human-bred, and they’re bred to be aggressive. Like a piranha takes to flesh as a part of their nature, pitbulls are the same. I don’t condone humans keeping piranhas (a natural species) as pets either.

that’s a dumb line to draw. Cats are natural predators. Like cats piranhas aren’t in the news for eating people.

one could argue black people are bred to be poor and come with all the problems that come with being systemically poor

You could argue that it’s just factually untrue.

Dogs are objectively bred for different traits

Border Collie : Bred to naturally herd
Jack Russell Terrier: Bred to hung rats
Golden Retriever: Bred to be family dogs
Shit Zhu: Bred to be a docile lapdog
Pit Bulls: Bred to be High Prey drive fighters

Humans races were not bred, we are proven to be 99% the same with the only major differences are our outer looks from living in different climates.

We shouldn’t kill Pit Bulls. We should neuter them until only a small amount exist, then make it illegal to get one without a license.

Cats have domesticated themselves to humans over hundreds, maybe thousands of years. I still wouldn’t leave my newborn alone with a cat. I can, though, easily overpower a cat. The same cannot be said for pitbulls.

Your second point is downright disgusting and it feels like you’re racist and just want a reason to say these things.
