Brain scans of nearly 9,000 healthy Canadians aged 35 to 69 found that those eating the most ultra-processed food had about 40% higher odds of hidden brain damage, like silent mini-strokes, even though their memory tests looked normal. The link was strongest in women. Itβs a one-time snapshot, so it canβt prove cause, but it hints that diet and brain health may connect earlier than anyone assumed.

It is not others who must change.
It is you who must first evolve.
Only then may you begin to come out of your cocoon and become a butterfly.

Something I keep reminding myself:
People behave according to what they are, not what you are.
When someone is rude, dismissive, or unkind to you, it usually says far more about their state of mind, their upbringing, their stress, or their own struggles than it does about you.
So don't take their behaviour on to yourself.
You don't have to carry the weight of someone else's mood or character. Respond with clarity, set boundaries where needed, and let their actions stay theirs.
Peace often begins the moment we stop personalising what was never really about us. π
Has anyone else found this mindset helpful? How do you practise not taking things personally?

If I knew then what I know now, I would have done many things differently. I would have worked less, spent more quality time with my family and those I loved. Not worried only about myself, but tried to improve life for everyone else as well.
Treated and respected all others as I would wish to be. Not been superficial, but sincere in all my interactions. Been grateful for everything I had, not for those things I did not. See the positive, rather than just the negative in others.
And truly understood the importance of sharing my unconditional love, rather than living my life in fear, as I always had.

University of Minnesota researchers froze pig kidneys to -150Β°C, stored one for over a year, then rewarmed and transplanted them into living pigs, where they regained color and produced urine. Theyβre not perfect yet, showing real signs of injury from the preservation chemicals, but experts are calling it a genuine milestone that could one day let human organs be banked indefinitely instead of racing a 24-hour clock.
