Kinda spoils a lot of the movie. I mean you'd have to watch it to understand a lot of the poster but still.

I find that a lot of fanmade movie posters try to be too cute, they end up incorporating revelatory details from the film in ways in which no real film poster would.

This is, to a degree, unavoidable. The purpose of a poster's design is, generally, to create interest in the film. The purpose of an internet FANMADE poster tends towards capturing as much of the attention economy as possible. Making sure people get the connection to the film, while also feeling invested in having gotten that connection.

The clever ones that "subtly" hint at the twist are the worst offenders, even though I actually enjoy them the most.

Right? You have to watch it to understand but the taped door or Ian lying dead on the floor is truly part of the fun to see it because it was a “shocking” reveal

Thankfully it isn’t, I just checked the real artist’s page. but for some reason (it may be the zoomed out quality), it looks like ai jumbles in some parts.

Idk are you sure? Ive seen a fair amount of comic book art that uses random dashes like this for texturing and shading. Could be wrong but this doesn’t ring any alarm bells for me.

This isn’t even a poster. It’s an animated photo of the end of the film with all the spoilers. So dumb

Looks like a Wes Anderson movie now.

Future Spoke Art drop?

Yeah this is good art work but I don’t think it matches the movie very well, feel like this might be more suited to a Wes Anderson film or something where you could showcase interesting objects & characters without spoiling anything

Haven’t see the movie yet. Guess I don’t have to now 🤷‍♀️

Does no one else notice the blatant AI poster or do we just not care anymore?

i don't think "be careful what you wish for" is this movies message. if you got "creepy gf is crazyyyy" out of it, you might be a man

Spoils the end of the movie, and doesn't mean anything to anyone who hasn't seen it.
