Announcement I built a free browser-based FPV Sim + Unity-style Terrain Editor (No download, fly instantly as a guest)
Hey guys,
I got tired of waiting on massive multi-gigabyte Steam downloads or heavy installations just to sneak in a quick 5-minute pack practice when I'm on my laptop.
So I spent the last several months building a fully functional FPV flight simulator that runs completely inside a web browser: My Bando FPV.
What's built in so far:
- Instant Fly: Plug in your RadioMaster, TBS, or boxer controller via USB, hit the page, and rip immediately as a guest. No login barriers.
- Full Terrain Editor: I built a map creator with real Unity-style terrain sculpting tools. You can mold mountains, place gaps, or build technical race tracks right in your browser.
- Pilot Hub Features: If you do want to sign up to save your maps, I built a social backend tailored for us. You can create custom profiles, share custom rates/physics profiles, and build localized groups or message boards.
It’s completely free, and the core sim will always be open to fly as a guest.
Check it out here: https://mybandofpv.com/
I'd love your brutal feedback on the acro physics and throttle response—let me know how it handles compared to your real-life quads!

This is awesome! Love the idea of a no‑download browser‑based FPV sim. The built‑in terrain editor sounds super fun. Great work putting all this together, can’t wait to give it a spin!

Hey your very welcome bro. Feel free to use my physics setting if you need a quick starting point so that it feels right. It will be labeled MarcsPysicsSetup. Yeah I know i spelled it wrong when i labeled it. lol

the map that I like and use the most is one that I made called MediumBandoMadMarc.
Feel free to make your own and even modify one of mine. If you want to save it so that you can share it with me and others , you can sign up with an email and password. Or with Google if it's easier. It doesn't collect info or have a paywall or ads or any of that crap.

Does switching to another browser tab pause the sim and clear the throttle input when you come back? That seems worth testing for the quick laptop sessions you're aiming at.
