what the hell is a military college, i looked it up. Do you sign up to the military and they go there after basic training or is it like just a college that pretends to be in the military and gives you a route to officer training if you join the military after?

In other words, is it just a college with ROTC type programs they have for highschool kids where they larp being in the military and probably do physical training every day... but it's still just college?

Because even without your dad as the guy in charge, she's acting like this is akin to going through seal training when in reality she completed military larp college?

This one she went to, the Citadel, is an older, quite legitimate military college. Essentially preps them for commission. It really is no small task and people who graduate should be proud of their accomplishment but- that said- Nancy Mace had significant nepotism in her favor, skipped the first year (the year of hell) and although technically she was the first female graduate (after a left leaning supreme court landmark ruling allowed women in the Citadel in the first place), she transferred in year two. The real street cred goes to Shannon Faulkner. But, of course, Nancy, being a brat, has to yap about it

Does the US army recognize degrees from these institutions as having done officers training?

It's a four year degree, same as any other accredited college, and they offer ROTC programs for all services. So yes, the Army and all services recognize the degrees from graduates.
