That's probably for the best. She probably would have gotten her whole unit killed on her first day, even if she was assigned stateside during peacetime.

I've met quite a few cadets during ROTC, yes I agree there are lots of Officers during my time that would have gotten many people killed.

I had very little confidence in the officers and fellow cadets I was with.

You know it's not like there's some genetic mutation that gives enlisted people superior intelligence over officers. It takes learning and experience. Those officers in ROTC have neither, just like an E-1.
