My mother told me when she’s in a boring situation she sometimes zones out and starts thinking about manamana, and then she can’t stop thinking about it, and then she has to try to stay serious and not smile or laugh because all she can think about is manamana. It started when she giggled about it in church and got in trouble in the *early 80s*. It kept getting funnier to her every time, just the thought “oh no, I hope I don’t think about manamana right now” is so ridiculous it’s impossible to stop it from being funny.
She’s literally possessed by the muppets it seems.
