I'm listening to a LOT of Paramore recently. Always liked their sound but never bought any albums. It's always nice to know that the people you're listening to are on the right side of history

Her year old solo album is phenomenal as someone who never really got that deep into paramore.

i hope you enjoy it! it was my aoty of last year. so rare to have a twenty track album without a single skip, but she somehow pulled it off.

My aoty too.. and I got to top it off by seeing her live a few weeks ago and she sounded just as good in person.

I love how her music has matured with her. I dug her music when it first came out, but like 2013 and on is legit some great music. Daydreaming is one of my all-time faves.

just to be clear, paramore is a band and paramore’s music is not hayley’s music. she is very very clear about that

edit: you can downvote me all you want but hayley literally has a song on her SOLO album where she screams into a megaphone that shes in a band. shes received tons of hate over the years for her role in the band too. paramore isnt hayley and paramores music isnt hayleys music

Are we meant to somehow separate her songwriting and being the lead singer for a band with being in the band and writing the songs?

no, but she is still their frontwoman who has writing credits on all of their songs. therefore she is obviously getting attention for her work with paramore.
