Patient Zero is also just not a good song. It's not awful, but it's not very good either. The song comes off like an attempt to be a girl's girl but ends up coming off as self centered.

Not so hot take, but this is what every Taylor Swift song sounds like to me.

Yep. She used to be the relatable, awkward girl next door. Now she's a billionaire living in excess. She literally has nothing in common with her fanbase.

Yes, billionaires are bereft of any human emotion.

Their point was that the whole “woe is me, I have haters” thing has become less and less easy to empathize with when she literally has everything a person could dream for. Wipes her ass and her tears with $100s

I mean this thread literally is hating on her so… plus that wasn’t even really a theme at all until like a bit her fourth and most of her fifth album.

She’s receiving legitimate criticism but braindeads will say it’s “hating” lol

There’s a comment on this thread calling her a Nazi.

That’s hating. She’s still receiving legitimate criticism

Legitimate criticism and it’s people openly admitting they don’t like any of her music anyways.

Two things can be true. There are subjective opinions and objective truths. Taylor’s action to release slightly adjusted, already existing songs, advertised and promoted as new in order to drive artificial fan engagement that wouldn’t exist otherwise, is a bad faith practice that has all too frequently aligned with other artists’, both jig and small, legitimate new releases. Those are observable and quantifiable objective truths
