discussion 90's soundtracks!
I absolutely love the albums for Batman Forever, Songs in the key of X, Spawn, Lost Highway...
They feel like they are actual expansions of these movies (or series), and transport me to those worlds. The soundtrack for Singles is good but feels more like a compilation album, probably because the movie is set in this reality.
Do they still make soundtracks like these? What are your favourites?

Judgement Night.
Very 90s, while still being a one of a kind soundtrack. A pairing of rock and hip hop bands on every track.

Some would argue that this was the catalyst for nu metal.
Whatever, it fucking ripped.1

Love that one. Used to hang out at a bar that had it on their CD jukebox and the tracks from it were pretty high on the rotation.

I miss a good soundtrack, and they are hard or impossible to find on Apple Music.
My 90s faves:
Clueless
Romeo and Juliet
Empire Records
(I know I’m forgetting some and will edit to add)
Adding:
Go
Trainspotting
Dangerous Minds
Friday
Pulp Fiction
Reservoir Dogs

Oh brother where art thou
The crow
Natural born killers
The matrix
A clockwork orange soundtrack is iconic in a way. Beethoven mixed with strange songs like singing in the rain and I want to marry a lighthouse keeper. Really reminds me of the vibe of the movie

The Crow. Songs from The Cure, Stone Temple Pilots, Rage Against the Machine, Rollins Band, Pantera, Violent Femmes, Helmet, Jesus and Mary Chain and more.

All the Farrelly brothers movies had great soundtracks. (Dumb and Dumber, Kingpin, There's Something About Mary, Me Myself and Irene)
Another Jim Carrey one: The Cable Guy.
Empire Records, That Thing You Do, Trainspotting, Can't Hardly Wait, Pulp Fiction, Wayne's World 1+2, Austin Powers 1-3... So many great 90s soundtracks!

If you have “Songs in the key of X” on CD, try pressing rewind from track 1. There are a couple songs hidden in the pre-gap of the CD.

The Beach soundtrack CD is excellent. That's 2000 though so not quite 90s...

Forrest Gump soundtrack was fire 🔥 I also loved Pump up the Volume. Introduced young me to some different music that I’d never heard before.

More eighties probably, but the soundtrack album to the movie Something Wild is fun stuff.

The Angus soundtrack was way too good. Rarities from Weezer, The Goo Goo Dolls, Green Day that rivaled their hits, plus great ones by Ash, Dance Hall Crashers, Pansy Division.

The movie was terrible, but Last Action Hero had a lot of good rock songs on it. Beavis and Butthead was more of a compilation, but has some good songs. Dazed and Confused has an amazing soundtrack, but obviously none of the songs are from the 90s. Pulp Fiction is 94 and has a fantastic soundtrack.

How have I reached the bottom and seen no mention of The Crow?
