I saw a Reddit calculation that concluded that it was 0.38 of a scaramucci.
Or 380 millimucci's. :-D

This November is gonna be the final test of my nation's democratic processes. And I hope it passes.

How very American Exceptionalism of you. I think it is equally important for European nation’s citizens to write/talk to their representatives that they approve of breaking SpaceX’s monopoly over the skies of Europe.

All power to you guys. You won't hear me deny that. I had a feeling musk and starlink would eventually become a problem for Ukraine and Europe as a whole.

Ha, not me, mine is already Musk-skeptic since 2023. But would be massively benefited to have a Western alternative to join and support.

Add “the world’s first trillionaire” to that!
He and Trump are both still trying to deflect that doom to each other.
Basically both are on lose and in panic mode because of this scandal. First because of uproar against him even in GOP and some factions of MAGA, which screws midterms even more, second because he is facing situation when Europe is calling to decouple from American tech and there are already European companies willing to take over niche left by Starlink. Moreover there are voices among Polish military analysts who say that too much dependence on American tech when they can control if they even are supposed to work would be suicial in face of war.

Tbh, I would prefer having Americans as (equality) allies! But they proved that they are not reliable partners! We let them have too much actual, and imo more important, soft power on Europe, and now we should reclaim that power and become independent! This requires years of commitment and investment! And sadly I'm afraid (too) many European politicians are hoping, trump and maga are "just a minor setback" and in a few years we'll go back to the old, so why make new, huge investments many will not like "why should we invest in expensive military infrastructures and energy sources that will be profitable in 20 years (when I can't take credit for it) when we can depend on American military "protection" and cheap russians gas and oil?"

And that is why you must talk to your political representatives.
Why Trump wants Ukraine to lose - and what to do about it

Thanks for a good recommendation for political analysis!
In case you're not familiar, I would recommend Preston Stewart for military analysis (he seem quite objective) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=20I5PQv16Hc&pp=ygUPcHJlc3RvbiBzdGV3YXJ0

Well, at least in 40th millenium we'll just have to provoke chaos gods into saying "Zelensky must g*" for them to vanish.

Zelensky hasn't said who must go this time yet

u/amitym 1d ago
That's the thing. Zelensky doesn't decide who must go. He is too busy with other stuff.
Instead, it is others who decide, by saying that Zelensky must go. Then he merely asks one simple question.

At the end of the day its down to us in the states to decide who needs to go in the end. Im hoping people drop that "your vote is useless" nonsense. Because even with people pulling away from the GOP the likes of which ive never seen before polls are still showing this to be a tight race.

Trump simply doesn't have the cards and he is gambling with WW3. He didn't even say Thank You.
