I live on the 1st floor of Building 2 at the Suites. I want to take a gap semester during Winter/Spring 2027, but im hoping I can find a replacement renter so I don’t have to keep paying the rent😓
Some information:

- The room is a triple; both of my roommates are girls and really sweet and respectful, but one of them actually doesn’t live there and only pops in occasionally to hang out or grab her stuff
- I pay $543/month which is rent+insurance+$1 transaction fee. Rent is due on the 1st of every month
- I sleep on the bottom bunk so that’s the bed you’d be getting. In our room, we have our own bathroom for all 3 of us, 2 closets, 1 desk+chair, 3 dressers, 2 mini fridges, and a microwave
- The Suites have a gym for residents and it’s pretty nice, they also have 2 kitchens in every building with lounge areas. We also have our own mailboxes
- I’m still going to complete the current semester, so I’m looking for someone to move in during or AFTER December 2026
- My lease ends on May 10th, 2026

If anyone is interested or has any questions, please let me know!

I was a freshman living in Morton in 2018 into 2019. I distinctly remember seeing poop smeared on a lower level window of the Taylor dorm. Does anyone else remember? I believe it was over winter break but it could’ve been spring break. I remember that I stayed on campus through the break and it wasn’t cleaned off for a while. It was like finger painted on smears 😅

Hi! I’m a trans student who will be going to NAU next year. I’m looking to get on hormones ASAP, and I’m wondering if NAU’s health services can cover it for me, and if so what should I expect the process to look like/prices to be? Thank you!

I got a C in algebra 3 but retook it online and got an A. Will they see I retook and consider my better grade or see the C and make me ineligible for the scholarship? It’s my only grade that ain’t an A so I’d be bumbed if I retook it just to still be cooked

Any ladies down for fun?
I’m co25

Are they gonna beat my ass because I’m gonna miss my rent payment by like a week? I’m terrified.

Hey y'all. This is for the older college kiddos here at NAU (like myself). If y'all wanna do some kind of HomeCo meetup, that'd be cool. My transfer advisor was pretty bummed to hear that I haven't attended any events yet, so I figured it'd be worth attending a HomeCo thing. Tequila Sunrise, Or anything on Friday afternoon. Figured some of us that might feel out of place could meet up, hang, and just enjoy a little social time.

I am freezing my ass off in my dorm room (Gabaldon). We have the windows closed and fans off and still freezing. The super El niño is causing a colder and bigger winter than before. It is October and it feels like this.

I got a job secured after graduation and got the ultimate senioritis. I neglected two online classes I have and so with the 15 credits I’m taking right now I will only earn 9 of them. I failed two classes that’s 3 credits each so that’s why. I was checking online Louie to see if I had any missing requirements and stumbled upon the 120 credits requirement. I currently have 89 and need 31 to graduate. I have the 9 from this semester so does that mean I’m expected to take 22 credits next semester!?!? I have also only withdrawn from two classes throughout all of college. That being said I’ve also taken heavy credit semesters so I don’t understand how I’m falling short when I’ve done 18 credits semesters early on exactly to avoid this. Any help is thanked and be honest with me guys am I cooked?

Okay where is the suggestion box for this campus? I need one for like everything.

The Afterween Carnival is seeking clubs to table at the event! Any club who stands for community, animal welfare, sustainability, or promotes anything positive is welcome at the event! Email mmd468@nau.edu to claim a spot before the end of the week 😁

We used to be able to see the dub menu on the app in the dining section. Which was helpful because I can plan out my meals and decide if I will eat at the dub that day. But now it is gone, and I don't like walking all the way to the dub only to find I don't want to eat anything there that day...and even when you press the menu option in the app, there is no actual menu that populates...

Hello I’m wanting to drop out because I will be working full time so I can save up and go to trade school instead. I don’t pay anything for school in fact I got at refund from financial aid. I need to drop out or fail out because I will not be able to attend classes once I go full time. We are almost at the 60% mark so I don’t know if there is anyone who has dropped out then and has needed to pay or not. I feel like the most I would need to repay would be the refund because I don’t pay anything out of pocket. I talked with financial aid online and they just told me that I could owe money and I could not. I need some advice on if I should just finish the semester even if that means I’ll fail or if I should withdraw with a W in hopes that it will be far enough into the semester to not get charged.

NAU recently made a new condition starting in Fall 2027 for receiving a MERIT BASED SCHOLARSHIP (ie: the Lumberjack, President’s, Deans, etc.) you MUST live on campus for your first year, as well as have a meal plan. This is listed on their Merit Scholarships website, but it its not super obvious to those looking at the site.

So, incoming Fall 2027 Freshman, make sure to look at your on campus housing and meal plan options!

I am just wondering if they would let me out of next semester since I am a senior and will likely have all online classes, I would like to move into an apartment instead with my financial aid. Probably a stupid question but I thought I would ask. I don't really like the dorms...

Hi, so I’m a junior (20f) here at NAU, and my sister and her friends are coming up for a birthday weekend; they got an Airbnb 5 minutes away from campus. I was just wondering if there's any way they could somewhat enjoy tequila sunrise even with a 19-year-old (one of my sister’s friends' bf) — the original plan was for them to get somewhat drunk out in the bars or something and then pick me up but obviously they can't just ditch the guy, and I was wondering if there's any way around it?

I'm just looking for ideas overall, as maybe some students had some issues before or something! Plsss lmkkkk, thank you
