Gameplay …yeah if 2k28 follows the same model of 2k27 where badges can be stripped by seasons, they’re in trouble!
This game was always pay for play in a way but now…they’ve gone too far by stripping badges away by seasons. I regret deleting 2k26 from my console. This model is just bad and a very greedy move by 2k developers. I love 2k but this is just getting bad. Hopefully they’ll have a change of heart for next years game when they see the decline in playing time by their loyal fan base. At this point, i’m waiting for the new Modern Warfare and GTA to drop. I can’t play this shit anymore man..

Why is this such a shock for people?? It was like this last year too lol I am baffled by all these posts that are shocked by this.... We knew this before we bought the game! It was literally shown on the stream with Mike Wang BEFORE early access even launched...

yeah this SUCKS. Pay to play beyond anything we’ve ever seen. And when the new season starts you have to go back and completely redo your badges. Super fucking annoying.
Pay to play has never been this bad.

Yeah you do, bc anything you used a fuse on vanishes. All of the badges I had bumped up were gone, with empty slots in their places. I had to reset them.

I felt the same way until I made a goat build. My eyes have been opened. I found out that the builds that I’ve been making in the myplayer builder were never 99 overall builds. I would grind those builds up to 99 overall when in fact they were only 85 overalls after all that hard work I put in. With goat builds I get to play with all my attributes and actually play like the player I was trying to create. I can even beat cheaters now! Try out a goat build! The Gameplay experience so much better!

The offline modes been the only thing keeping me around too, myplayer is just a casino now with extra steps

synergy gives you a free badge, it is a little different. with the +1s you still had the badge just a worse version. now i have to redo my badges based on the fact i cant REALLY afford four of them

Plus 1 and 2 system still let you have EVERY BADGE your build had access to. This points system one on 27 doesn’t allow you to equip EVERY BADGE. So it’s the difference between a gold badge going to legend or having no badge at all

Getting every badge meant that everyone would be demigod with cap breakers. You get to prioritize the badges based on your style of play.
